Annual Members and Board Meetings are governed by the Fl Statutes and the LH Governing Documents.
Board Meetings;
- Meetings of the Board of Directors shall be open to all Members, except board meetings held for the purpose of discussing personnel matters and meeting with the. Corporation’s attorney.
- Board Meetings are where the Board Conducts Association Business.
- Members may speak when acknowledged by the chairman of the meeting.
- Members may speak on topics on the agenda only.
- Open Forum is not a required agenda item. It is a privilege. The board is not required to answer or respond to any topic that is not already on the agenda.
- Submit your questions or concerns via the office, addressed to the board, prior to a board meeting to give the board ample time to investigate and respond at the board meeting.
Members Annual Meetings;
- Shall be held during the first calendar quarter of each year on the date and at such time and place as the Board of Directors shall designate.
- Purpose of the Annual Members meeting is to hold elections and for voting on issues if/when deemed necessary.
- Special meetings of the Members may be called at any time by the President or by the Board of Directors, or upon written request of one-third (1/3) of the Members entitled to vote.
