Our Lake Highlander postman has asked that I let people know: USPS policy in forwarding mail has changed due to the continuing increase in mail fraud.
If you have requested your mail to be sent to a forwarding address, you must go to your local post office with your id and verify in person that you are the one who made the forwarding request. Our postman stated several addresses in our park are not receiving their mail because they have not gone to the post office to verify their request to be forwarded. If you do not go to your local post office and verify, your mail will be returned to the sender.
If you have questions, do not contact Lake Highlander! Go to the post office and talk to a postal employee. Our postman thanks you in advance.
